Curriculum
Youbellor Child Academy uses a blended developmentally appropriate curriculum. Our approach supports the belief that children learn best through hands-on experiences. The curriculum is designed to support children in becoming independent, self-confident, inquisitive, and enthusiastic learners by actively exploring their environment. Our teachers learn about individual children through observation. Based on those observations, the teachers discover each child’s interests and natural abilities, and help guide them to new challenges.
Age Groupings
Age groupings are generally based on child’s age. However, groupings are flexible and a child may be moved from on group to another to meet certain needs. Age groups intermingle according to the standards of the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. Our teachers use a wide range of teaching strategies — from child-initiated learning to teacher-directed approaches — to best respond to each child’s learning styles, strengths, and interests.

Stay Connected With Brightwheel
We use an app called Brightwheel to keep families connected with our school. Brightwheel enables parents to easily keep in contact with both our teachers and directors. It tracks the students’ day, notifying families of events such as sleeping, eating, diaper changing, lesson plans, playing, and more. Our teachers also post photos and videos of students during different parts of the day and while doing different activities so families can see the learning and fun! We also have billing and tuition payments through the app.
