Curriculum

Youbellor Child Academy uses a blended developmentally appropriate curriculum. Our approach supports the belief that children learn best through hands-on experiences. The curriculum is designed to support children in becoming independent, self-confident, inquisitive, and enthusiastic learners by actively exploring their environment. Our teachers learn about individual children through observation. Based on those observations, the teachers discover each child’s interests and natural abilities, and help guide them to new challenges.

Age Groupings

Age groupings are generally based on child’s age. However, groupings are flexible and a child may be moved from on group to another to meet certain needs. Age groups intermingle according to the standards of the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. Our teachers use a wide range of teaching strategies — from child-initiated learning to teacher-directed approaches — to best respond to each child’s learning styles, strengths, and interests.

Stay Connected With Brightwheel

We use an app called Brightwheel to keep families connected with our school. Brightwheel enables parents to easily keep in contact with both our teachers and directors. It tracks the students’ day, notifying families of events such as sleeping, eating, diaper changing, lesson plans, playing, and more. Our teachers also post photos and videos of students during different parts of the day and while doing different activities so families can see the learning and fun! We also have billing and tuition payments through the app.

What Youbellor Parents Say

“Youbellor has been our daycare provider since 2018. We are very pleased with the directors and teachers, many who have been there since we started using them for childcare. Both of our children (one graduated and one current) enjoy their time at Youbellor and look forward to going each day. I enjoy getting updates and pictures on the Brightwheel app each day. Throughout the year there are theme days, a Fall Festival, in house Wiggles and Giggles, and optional soccer lessons that both my children enjoyed.”
-S.L.
“Everyone is great there! My daughter always comes home with a smile on her face! We love Youbellor!”
-M.R
“I love the staff! They are so incredibly kind and caring. All of the teachers treat the children like their own. It feels like a family environment! My child has been there since he was 12 weeks old, and as hard as it was for me as a mother to send him somewhere, I had no choice but to get back to work. It was a weight off my shoulders finding Youbellor, this place is truly my village! I highly recommend them!”
-L.G.
“5 stars hands down! We have been at Youbellor for four and a half years, we have both of our children there. The education the teachers provide is fantastic, our five-year-old son is learning a lot and even our 18-month-old can count to ten and knows the alphabet. It is truly a great environment, we highly recommend Youbellor!” -C.B.

Parent Involvement

We encourage parents to be involved in our school and your child’s development within the school. You are always welcome to meet with your child’s teacher or the center’s director to discuss any issues or concerns. Please feel comfortable coming to us with anything, we are here to help you and your child in this important part of his/her development! Also, please feel free to call throughout the day to check on your child and/or message on Brightwheel. We will notify you of special events or activities as they are scheduled, so that you may join us as well.
